About the Mail Club
The Femme Letter was created from a very simple but powerful idea. In a world that moves fast and often feels overwhelming, I wanted to create something that slows you down, even if just for a moment.
Each month, I sit down and write a new letter from scratch. It is not a template and it is not something copied or reused. It comes from a real place, inspired by thoughts, feelings, and experiences that many of us quietly carry. The letter is meant to feel personal, like something that speaks directly to you when you need it most.
Around the letter, I build a small world.
Every mail includes art prints, illustrated postcards, stickers, and small paper goods that are designed to complement the message of the month. Each piece is created with intention, so that everything you receive feels connected and meaningful. Still, the focus always comes back to the words.
This is not a healing program or something that promises to fix you.
Instead, it is a quiet companion.
A reminder that growth does not have to look perfect. That you are allowed to take your time. That you can question things, change directions, and still be on the right path. Many of the letters are rooted in themes like self trust, identity, comparison, and becoming. Not in a heavy or overwhelming way, but in a way that feels grounding and honest.
Mental health and emotional well being are very important to me, both personally and through my work. But I wanted to create something that feels supportive without feeling clinical. Something that feels like a conversation rather than advice.
Something that stays with you.
The Femme Letter is for anyone who is navigating life, growing, questioning, starting over, or simply trying to feel a little more connected to themselves.
It is not about becoming someone new.
It is about becoming more of who you already are.
About Me
Hi, I’m Jelena, the person behind The Femme Letter.
The idea for this started from something very personal. I realized how much I was missing something real. Something slow. Something that isn’t just another notification on a screen, but something you can actually hold, keep, and come back to.
Creativity has always been a big part of my life. Writing, designing, and expressing emotions in a way that feels honest has stayed with me for as long as I can remember. At the same time, I followed a path in education. I completed my university degree and I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Educational Sciences.
I have worked as a teacher and I am now working as a social pedagogue, supporting young people through different stages of their lives. This experience shaped how I think, how I create, and how I connect with people. It also deepened my interest in psychology and mental health, which plays a big role in everything I create today.
For me, creativity and emotional well-being are closely connected. I believe that small things can make a difference. A letter, a few words, a quiet moment.
That’s how I found my way to snail mail.
What started as something personal slowly turned into something I wanted to share. A way to create something meaningful not just for myself, but for others too.
Today, I run two Etsy shops and continue to build a space where creativity, intention, and emotional connection come together. The Femme Letter is a natural extension of that.
It’s not just about sending something.
It’s about creating something that feels like it was made for you.
