About The Femme Letter

The Femme Letter began with a simple idea: to create something that helps you slow down in a world that often feels too fast, too loud and a little overwhelming.

Every month, I write a new letter from scratch. Nothing is copied, reused or pulled from a template. Each letter grows from thoughts, feelings and experiences that many of us quietly carry but do not always know how to put into words.

I want every letter to feel personal. Like something that meets you where you are and speaks to you at exactly the right moment.

Around each letter, I create a small collection inspired by the theme of the month. Depending on your subscription, your envelope may include an art print, illustrated postcard, vinyl sticker, bookmark, reflection card or another thoughtful surprise. Every piece is designed to belong together, but the words will always remain at the heart of it.

The Femme Letter is not a healing program and it does not promise to fix you.

It is simply a quiet companion.

A monthly reminder that growth does not have to look perfect. That you are allowed to take your time, change direction, question things and still be moving forward. The letters explore themes such as self-trust, identity, comparison, rest, worth and becoming. Not in a heavy or clinical way, but with honesty, warmth and care.

Mental health and emotional well-being are deeply important to me, both personally and through my work. I wanted to create something supportive without making it feel like advice. Something that feels more like a conversation. Something you can return to when you need a softer voice beside your own.

The Femme Letter is for anyone navigating life, growing, beginning again or simply wanting to feel a little more connected to themselves.

It is not about becoming someone new.

It is about remembering who you already are.

About Me

Hi, I’m Jelena, the person behind The Femme Letter.

The idea for this started from something very personal. I realized how much I was missing something real. Something slow. Something that isn’t just another notification on a screen, but something you can actually hold, keep, and come back to.

Creativity has always been a big part of my life. Writing, designing, and expressing emotions in a way that feels honest has stayed with me for as long as I can remember. At the same time, I followed a path in education. I completed my university degree and I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Educational Sciences.

I have worked as a teacher and I am now working as a social pedagogue, supporting young people through different stages of their lives. This experience shaped how I think, how I create, and how I connect with people. It also deepened my interest in psychology and mental health, which plays a big role in everything I create today.

For me, creativity and emotional well-being are closely connected. I believe that small things can make a difference. A letter, a few words, a quiet moment.

That’s how I found my way to snail mail.

What started as something personal slowly turned into something I wanted to share. A way to create something meaningful not just for myself, but for others too.

Today, I run two Etsy shops and continue to build a space where creativity, intention, and emotional connection come together. The Femme Letter is a natural extension of that.

It’s not just about sending something.

It’s about creating something that feels like it was made for you.
